Who we are. . .
We inspire movements from isolation to community, from paralysis to creativity, and from indifference to compassion.

Community - Inspiring a sense of belonging by building relationships.
We heal and grow when we feel known, heard, and loved which is why community is so important.
Creativity - Inspiring health through artistic expression.
We believe it is in helping others to open themselves to the creative process that they will be inspired to move forward to healing and wholeness. Healing hearts and transformed lives are true masterpieces.
Compassion - Inspiring hope by sharing the burdens of pain and loss.
We greatly benefit from having creative tools like color, movement and sound to express what can't be put in words. As stories are told, a more understanding and compassionate society is shaped.

Our Beginning |
Jennifer George and Dawn Egan, founded Art Inspiring Change with a vision for using the arts to bring healing to hurt people and awareness to important social issues. This vision continues through the multiple projects of Art Inspiring Change.
One of AIC's first projects was, Exposing Scars (exhibited at the Women’s Museum in San Diego). Jennifer, a professional photographer, created this project to shed light on domestic violence. Her goal was to open the public’s eyes to the damage caused by abuse and to educate and change the cultural climate regarding acceptance of violence against women. |
