Supporting the perpetrator over the victim

This whole thing is so shocking I am sick… And to see that Stanford has done nothing to respond to it ....no statement to the public statement to the victim I just horrifying where is our world coming to!! There so much I can say I'm just shocked beyond belief and feel that we've caught a long long ways to go to stopping sexual abuse.... Before this cancer rob me of my life my nonprofit was started just exactly to start fighting back against the public and social opinions and for the public to start seeing crime and abuse from the view of the victim… My hope was to create empathy and dialogue to eradicate  this from our culture

The Pledge

Wow! Proud of the Oscars and VP Joe Biden for www.itsonus.org

The pledge is a personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault.

It is a promise not to be a bystander to the problem, but to be a part of the solution.

AIC is so grateful for all the support and donations we received during our winter campaign! We have raised enough to take the exhibit Exposing Scars to at least two venues this next year! With the support we have will we be doing several small events during the year to raise awareness and create a tribe of volunteers, patrons and supporters for ending abuse forever!

Be a light to others

Only 12 hours to go!

I was reading an article today on Facebook about Joey + Rory and their struggles as Joey is battling terminal cancer. In Rory's latest blog, http://thislifeilive.com/ he talks about a friend that has been a light to them. How touching to see that someone can make a difference in another's life. We all should seek to be lights.....lights of compassion, lights of empathy, lights of love.

Partner to be a light....a light to the abused.
